I have a strong interest for digestive and infectious diseases since I was still an undergraduate student at the Faculty of Medicine. Thus Since 2013 I decided to get a clinical training in Internal Medicine in my country so that I could later focus on my fields of interest. My interest for Helicobacter pylori infection and gastric cancer came up as I started to train in digestive endoscopy. From the very first article related to Helicobacter pylori that I read, I discovered Professor Yamaoka Yoshio and his scientific work. As I started dreaming to pursue a career of researcher, I naturally felt the need to join a research team such that of Yamaoka Sensei, in order to improve my skills. Then, thanks to the Japanese Government and to Yamaoka Sensei, I have got into a warm and multidisciplinary working environment offering various opportunities for scientific and technical training on digestive diseases. I am grateful! I plan now to achieve a high level of training and scientific skills. Therefore, in near future, I hope I can provide a certain expertise for improving health and scientific collaboration from my home country.
